The autonomy of sport has led to Safe Sport becoming a very unregulated space, with expertise becoming loosely defined by personal experiences in sport. Consequently, there are several opinions of what Safe Sport entails and the best strategies for advancing it. At Safeguarding4Sport, our consultants have acquired the highest levels of education related to Safeguarding Sport. The formal training of our consultants, paired with their practical experiences as sport practitioners, qualifies them to provide practical, evidence-based services and recommendations to create and sustain a safeguarding culture of sport.

Our conception of Safe Sport extends beyond the prevention of maltreatment to consider, and prioritize, the ways in which we can create and sustain an optimal sport culture. This approach more accurately reflects the concept of Safeguarding Sport.
